SoundPeats TrueFree Plus wireless earbuds got into my attention when I was searching for budget TWS earbuds in Amazon UAE. It’s a value for money TWS (True Wireless Sound) earbuds with an excellent battery life of 35hrs earbuds and a charging case combined.
In our review period of 3 months, the SoundPeats TrueFree Plus earbuds did reasonably well, especially in this price bracket. Audio is excellent in terms of bass, mid and low notes.
Even though the SoundPeats TrueFree Plus wireless earbuds provide unbelievably good sound quality, there are no tradeoffs in battery life. For 1 full charge, we managed to stretch up to 1 week of usage with medium to high usage.
With 1 full charge, we got 3-3.5h of playback time in earbuds. Even though this isn’t the best playback time compared to the competitors, SoundPeats TrueFree Plus earbuds can certainly take us through for at least 2 days using the battery case which contains 800mAh of battery.
As for the wireless connection, the Soundpeats TrueFree+ rely on Bluetooth 5.0 to connect to your phone, tablet, or desktop. The pairing process with my Pixel 3 XL was as smooth as I could have asked for, and there were no major connection drops while moving in an apartment of 700 sq ft. There’s also minimal audio delay when using the earbuds to watch videos.
As for call quality, most of our issues are lying there. It picks up background noise more than the caller’s voice and the end caller were having tough time to hear the caller’s voice. But we are sure such a new company like SoundPeats can make this better in their future devices.
SoundPeats TrueFree Plus have kept a transparent case lid for the battery case so see the charging status of earbuds, we found this feature very useful in our usage to see .
Also there is 2 LED status indicators for the AC charging. But there is no option of checking the battery status without connecting the AC Power.
Also we found the magnet to hold earbuds to the case as excellent, there was no single instance where i found issue in connection drop which is excellent.
Lack of USB-C port is another downside faced during the usage, as most of the phones are now equipped with USB Type C ports, carrying Micro USB for charging the battery case.
SoundPeats TrueFree Plus wireless earbuds offers an excellent user experience for its money.
With more money, more features and a better user experience. We can easily say that Sound Peats TrueFree Plus is one of the best earbuds available at this price point. Currently, it is selling for AED 130 in Amazon UAE and INR 4500 in Amazon India Store.
