HTC, once the top Android smartphone manufacturer makes a comeback to the smartphone space with their first 5G phone HTC U20 5G launched today in the United Arab Emirates. The U20 5G comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC with a Quad camera setup in the rear, 5000mAh battery and a large 6.8-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD Display.
The HTC U20 5G is a balanced smartphone with a mid-range specification on the paper with a 32-megapixel selfie camera in a hole-punch cutout. The device has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for unlocking the phone and a Quad camera array with a 48MP f/1.8 lens, an f/2.2 8MP ultra-wide lens and 2MP depth and macro camera.

The U20 5G is powered with Qualcomm’s mid-range SoC Snapdragon 765G paired with 8GB RAM for smooth multi-tasking and a 256GB storage which can be expanded via a MicroSD card. The 215g phone packs a huge 5000mAh battery inside. HTC claims that the smartphone can deliver up to 156 hours of audio playback or 27 hours of uninterrupted video or 25 hours of browsing.
The HTC U20 5G camera system has stable 4K video capture so special moments are always beautifully filmed, and the 6.8-inch display is Full HD with 20:9 sleek ratio to enjoy everything from streaming videos to playing games. The phone will be running Android 10 OS out of the box.
The U20 5G will be available for purchase in Mirage Green colour matte finish for AED 2299. As a special pre-order price, the device will be exclusively available at Noon.com for AED 1799 from 29 December to January 5 2021.
