In the budget segment, the most compromised feature on the True wireless earbuds will be the call quality. Surprisingly, the call quality on the Life P2 were above average, thanks to the dual mics on the buds and the cVc 8.0 noise reduction technology for the vocal enhancement and the background noise suppression.
Anker has used Graphene drivers in the Life P2. The brand has used the most popular audio codec aptX in the device with 16 and 24 bit word depth. With the 6mm drivers equipped in the wireless earbuds, we found the music streaming decent, as the bass are not punchy enough. However the vocals are pretty good while streaming on Spotify.
Anker’s budget earbuds comes with Bluetooth 5.0 with a range of 10m. During the review period, the wireless range seems to be okay while streaming music and calling. Its IPX7 certified, that means the earbuds can be submerged with water up to 3 feet.
The Sound isolation is not so great on the buds, even though with the medium sized ear-tip creates a good seal in the ears, the external noise can be heard through. Considering the price, this is a problem we can ignore.
With more than 2 weeks of extensive usage, we did not face any kind of connectivity issues or disconnection. The music streaming and voice were pretty good. Also the Play/Pause and Next using the buttons on the buds worked well as expected.
